Henry Mitchell lives and works in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife, Jane Ella Matthews, a Feldenkrais® practitioner. His family has lived in the Carolina upcountry for eight generations. Mitchell has been working as a visual artist for over fifty years. His sculpture, assemblages, paintings and drawings are included in more than nine hundred public, corporate and private collections in eight countries.
